There is something for everyone during Montgomery’s annual Holiday in the Village event. Holiday in the Village festivities start at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3.

Join other Montgomery residents at the North Pole (Downtown Historic Montgomery at the Neuilly Plaisiance Fountain Plaza) to kick off the festivities.
• At 5:00 p.m., Santa will announce all of the winners of Montgomery’s Winter Coloring Contest and give away prizes. Santa will also announce the lucky winner who will light the Montgomery Christmas tree and streetscape along Montgomery Road! Then, the winners will ride with Santa in a carriage to the Universalist Church and Santa’s North Pole Workshop.
• After the lighting, attendees are invited to stroll along with festive Carolers down Shelly Lane and visit the North Pole Workshop.

At the North Pole Workshop (Universalist Church), revelers will be able to enjoy many holiday offerings. They can:
• Visit Santa,
• Join Mrs. Claus and create a winter craft,
• Sing along with the festive carolers,
• And, enjoy free horse drawn wagon rides that leave from the church and travel through downtown.

All North Pole Festivities conclude at 7:30 p.m.

The Ohio National Financial Services campus turns into Victorian Holiday Village for the evening. This Holiday offering is available through 8:30 p.m. Check out facebook.com/ohionational for all the details.
• Explore Ohio National Financial Services’ glittering Victorian Holiday Village decorated with thousands of lights, child-sized houses featuring holiday scenes and a miniature train.
• Enjoy the miniature sized Ohio National Financial Services post office, St. Nick’s workshop and other Victorian-inspired houses.
• Free 5x7 photos with St. Nick (one per family) and free cocoa, free cookies and more.

The Second Floor of Bethesda North Hospital becomes a Penguin Igloo for the evening. Don’t miss the holiday model train displays, fun penguin themed activities and entertainers. The Penguin Igloo and entertainment concludes at 7:30 p.m.
• Enjoy hot cider, cookies and a free gift.
• The Light Up a Life program will sell strands of holiday lights to recognize or memorialize those you hold dear with a light shining in their honor.

Twin Lakes Senior Living Community hosts Gingerbread Central. Be sure to see the gingerbread houses that are on display from the gingerbread contest. Enjoy the gingerbread festivities until 7:30 p.m.
• Kids can have fun with a free craft activity
• Enjoy treats and live music

The “Jolly Trolley” Complimentary Holiday Shuttle runs all evening from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.:
• This trolley runs between all four festive activities and begins running at 5 p.m. from Twin Lakes and Bethesda North Hospital. The trolley ends service when it departs Ohio National Financial Services at 9:00 p.m.
• We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing food or drink on the shuttle.
• Look for the shuttle stop signs on wooden snowman decorating the stops along the Holiday in the Village activities.

Holiday Contests Displays:
Enjoy seeing the creative decorated trees from the Festival of Trees contest and be sure to vote for your favorite tree. Trees are displayed at Penguin Igloo, Victorian Holiday Village and the North Pole Workshop! Be sure to check out the gingerbread houses at Gingerbread Central!
