MEET PASTOR JOSH
Pastor Josh's ministry began when he was a summer camp counselor during college. There he learned to play guitar and saw the impact a fun and loving Christian community had on youth. His summer camp experience translated into work as a youth director at a congregation in Columbus, Ohio.

He soon felt a call into ordained ministry. After completing his degree at Ohio State in Fine Arts, he attended seminary at Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus. He and his wife, Kate, served as Peace Corps volunteers in Bulgaria. They taught English as a second language at the elementary and high school levels. They have three young children.

MEET OUR CONGREGATION

The Ascension congregation is a welcoming community of members and friends. Our contemporary sanctuary is nestled at the rear of its three-acre wooded space, just off I-71.
Our congregation is made up of a mixture of life-long Lutherans, those who come from other traditions and people for whom Ascension is their first church home.
